Replexa+ provides a safe, effective therapy for the treatment of chronic pain anywhere on the body. It is designed to be used in your home by you, the patient. Replexa+ is a prescription device, please see your VA physician in the department related to where you are experiencing pain.
The use of shortwave diathermy for heat therapy has the advantage of penetrating deeper than other conventional methods, such as infrared lights, heating pads, and even microwave diathermy. The heat generated by shortwave diathermy induces a whole range of physiological effects. It relaxes muscles, tendons, and other connective tissues, and increases blood circulation in the treatment area.
When shortwave diathermy is applied in short, high-energy pulses, the depth of penetration is increased, having a particularly positive effect on the blood circulation, while skin hardly feels the heat, if at all.
Replexa+ has been shown to be most beneficial when used twice a day for 30 minutes per treatment. It has been designed to be easy to use by our patients in the home. It’s as simple as plugging it in, connecting an applicator or two, positioning the applicators and pressing start.

Replexa+ is FDA cleared and on VA contract. It is available to our nation’s veterans at no cost to our patients. If you have chronic, hard-to-heal pain or a blood flow insufficiency, please see your VA doctor and let them know you’re interested in the Replexa+ device. Your physician can order a device for you, and we will contact you to arrange for delivery and in-service.
Our one-of-a-kind Patient Support Program starts with a personal in-service, instructing you, the patient, on proper product usage, as well as establishing the best treatment routine and location within the home to administer the therapy. These efforts help to encourage our patients to use the therapy properly as prescribed.
The Patient Support Team will follow-up on a regular basis throughout our patients’ treatment period. The Patient Support Team records direct feedback from each patient regarding the progress of their therapy with the goal of attaining a positive outcome. This information is then passed on to the prescribers, providing up-to-date information to continue therapy or discharge patients once a positive outcome has been achieved.
